MB ChB (Aberdeen 2009) MRCGP PGDipSEM
Dr McMullan first joined the practice as a GP Trainee in 2011 and has been a Partner since 2016.
His interests include Sports Medicine, minor surgery, joint injections and HGV/DVLA medicals. Dr McMullan is the First Team Doctor for Inverness Caledonian Thistle Football Club (ICTFC).
Dr McMullan enjoys the contrasting rural and urban demands of general practice, working in both Riverside and Cromarty Medical Practices. He works alongside NHS Highland to help deliver high quality patient care as one of the District Medical Leads for Inverness.
Dr Thurlow-White is originally from Contin and returned to the Highlands for her first GP role.
Joining the team as a salaried Doctor in February 2018 Dr Thurlow-White becoming a Partner in January 2020. She currently works across both Cromarty and Riverside Practices.
Her special interests include Gynaecology , Sexual &Reproductive Healthcare, Paediatrics & Neonatology and Rural General Practice. She has worked with NHSH, and alongside Dr McMullan, as District Medical lead for Mid-Ross since April 2019.
Dr Thurlow-White has a Diploma from the Faculty of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare
Dr Beattie - originally from the Scottish Borders, but married to a Black Isler - studied at the University of Edinburgh, then trained in General Practice with subsequent time in Psychiatry before moving to the Far East.
There she spent 20 years, many of them as the International Medical Adviser to a charitable organisation working across the region - a role which combined occupational and travel medicine with general practice.
On her return to the UK, she ‘re-entered’ British General Practice at Riverside Medical Practice before working in Hertfordshire. After a brief spell in the Scottish Borders, she moved back to the Highlands and joined Cromarty Medical Practice in 2019. She enjoys the diversity of General Practice and the privilege of getting to know people in their own contexts.
Health Care Assistant -
Senior Administrator - With 40 years at the Practice, Kathleen is a greatly treasured part of the team. The Patients and her colleagues all benefit from her professional knowledge.
Laura is an experienced administrator who works on reception and admin and we are very pleased to have her on the team at Cromarty.
